Our team shares the philosophy that "He who has health has hope, he who has hope has everything!"
As a team we focus as much on personal growth as we do on professional training in order to serve you in a caring and dedicated way. As experts in wellness, our doctors and staff have received extensive training from state accredited schools, have specialized education in their field, and use their invaluable experience to connect with you and create a personalized plan to meet your needs.
Laurie Semlow has been a part of Semlow Chiropractic on a daily basis since July, 2006. She enjoys the energy and excitement of a wellness-based practice, which Semlow Chiropractic provides. In her role she facilitates wellness care through staff leadership and operational efficiencies. In April, 2009 Laurie became a Certified Yoga Instructor through Yogafit Alliance and has been teaching 6 week classes in the office on a regular basis.
"Finding Chiropractic in my 30's was wonderful, but introducing it to my children was such a gift. I love it when other parents bring their children in to get adjusted too!"
Nerita Czarny joined our staff as Case Manager in May of 2008. She started her career in the Chiropractic field while still in high school. "Although I have worked in different fields over the years, it's the pull of natural health and the opportunity to help others that brought me back to Chiropractic and Dr. Semlow's office."
Nerita shares a home with her husband Dick, her daughter Chelsey, a 2008 graduate of Reeths Puffer School, and their dog, Wrigley. Her hobbies include cooking and baking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband camping, fishing and exploring the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Jen Dibble started with Dr. Semlow in 2004 as a Massage Therapist. Since then she has worked as a Chiropractic Assistant and is now our Billing Manager. She is a student at Grand Valley State University and enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and their two boys, Aidan and Seger. In her time outside the office Jen enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
"I am an avid believer in Chiropractic for kids and got both of my boys adjusted right after birth."
Candace Kops joined our office in November, 2008 as a Chiropractic Assistant and Head of Community Relations. Her role consists of setting up health screenings and outside lectures in which our doctors and massage therapists can promote health and wellness through Chiropractic.
Candace enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising and spending time outdoors, and most of all spending time with her two dogs/kids Sadie and Darby.
"Promoting health and wellness has always been an interest of mine, and my position with Semlow Chiropractic allows me to reach more members of the community to share our message."
Alayna Gale joined our staff as a Chiropractic Assistant in April, 2009. A graduate of Ross Medical Education Center in 2009, she received her Certificate in Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration.
Alayna enjoys camping and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
"If you've never tried Chiropractic you owe it to yourself to schedule a complimentary Wellness Visit and Spinal Analysis. I am amazed at the difference Chiropractic makes in peoples lives - I never get tired of hearing our patients' success stories and celebrating their health with them!"
